Short-term accommodations and day-long writer’s workshops in a historic Portland, Or. home with a burlesque past, cozy guest rooms, vintage kitchen & lots of entertainment space.

Accommodation options include:

  • Individual guest rooms for up to 3 guests: The Writer’s Room, Lee’s Room, & The Sun room.

  • The Top Floor: Large groups can rent all three rooms and entire upstairs floor (full bath, kitchenette and large landing) to accommodate up to 9 guests

  • The Whole House: Once in a while, we rent out the whole house (contact hosts for dates)

  • Downstairs Only: The living room, dining room, music room, family room, vintage gourmet kitchen and full bathroom can easily accommodate 20-25, which makes this space perfect for smaller, intimate gatherings, work retreats, corporate events, creative brainstorming and dinner parties (contact hosts for dates)

The Sun Room is cozy & bright, with lots of windows & a maple tree right outside. You'll feel like you're sleeping in a treehouse. Queen-size bed, (plus space for a twin), shared bath w clawfoot tub & pedestal sink, coffee, tea, basic breakfast, microwave & fridge plus a gorgeous yard all in a 110-yr-old Portland craftsman home with a burlesque past. Close to downtown, Mota Center, convention center, bus lines, restaurants, shopping, parks & everything "Portland." Well-behaved dogs welcome!


Very cool older home, close proximity to downtown, fantastic amenities and thoughtful touches by the homeowners. It was a great house for our big group to spend a weekend in Portland!

Easy check-in, great location, clean, beautiful home and amazing hosts. Loved the history behind the home. Could not recommend enough!


Tremendous place with wonderful hospitality. Definitely worth a visit!
